Nope, definitely smiley smileys:-
"If you put enough smiley faces in your post no-one can possibly take offence so you can say what the hell you like.
I haven't quite decided on your punishment yet, but it's ranging between a wet weekend in a single bedded room in Scunthorpe with siraxeman, and a wet weekend with a single bedded-room in Scunthorpe with siraxeman and Emp Fab.

Your post in the "Name an album on which you admire the guitar playing" thread was, frankly, a bit grumpy.
But my first thought was: Maybe Rocker is not well today.
Basically, it's great for making everyone else feel stupider than you. Which, after all, is the whole point of in-the-pub debates.
Wait, what? Who the hell are you, and what have you done with Drew?

I only feel bad that I can't contribute much in terms of advice or expertise as I don't have them! In that respect I take more from the pot than I put in.
Mostly friendly people, and hugely helpful threads on gear and technique.
For the past 20 years of playing guitar, i never thought i would improve much, but i have picked up so much great info off others, and been helped out whenever i have asked.
an example: I posted about a broken diy Fuzz War clone kit i had assembled but wasnt working 100%.
Up pipes mr @jonnygreentrees who offers to take a look. He ordered a couple bits and fixed it within days, and insisted i only pay for the parts and postage.
True ledge.
