Thanks for the help, so here's the pic, Gibson SG standard with Bigsby B7 and Creamery '57 pickups. Also got a roller bridge and Grover tuners, my number 1 :)

I just took a pic for my blog of all my current guitars, the only one of real value here is the Takemine classical, the rest are low end.  The dreadnought is an El Degas copy of a Gibson Hummingbird, the Tele is a Squier, and that's an Epiphone Special II, the bass is a Yamaha.  These are all very playable guitars though, I like all of them.  I've used all but the Tele and Epiphone on stage and I've used all of them for recordings.  The biggest difference with the two solid bodies here is the final set up, it's impossible to get the action and feel of a real Tele or Gibson here, so the compromise is higher action, which I can live with, they both absolutely scream plugged in.  image

@daveww - out of interest, how did you get hold of those Bacchus's (Bacchusi?). I'm guessing you like them as you've got 2, but what would you compare them to in terms of build quality etc?

@horse I'm a long time fan of Japanese guitars and for years played Tokais.  Old Tokai's are still great but prices started to go through the roof so I looked to other things.  Bacchus particularly vintage series had a great reputation so a few years ago I tried those and was impressed.  I got the strat from a guy in iceland via a japanese guitar forum and the tele off hisashi on ebay.  I've also had an amazing SG and a P90 gold top LP.  Really wish I'd never sold the gold but ....  I got the SG via ishibashi in Japan and the GT from a mate who's also on this forum from time time.  I think he got it from Yahoo Japan if I remember right.  If you get a good one I'd say they are comparable to fender custom shop, particularly the strat, but I don't expect anyone to believe me without trying it.  The pickups are really nice too.

I remember Monstronaut(?) had 2 LPs up for sale back on MR - both looked nice.
Don't think I'd have the guts to try such long distance purchasing - makes the risks I take seem pretty safe!
Would be great to see some more close-up pics if you have any.

Is that a DX100 I see on the side? I've still got one somewhere albeit some keys no longer work - my first 'proper' synth!
