Ever met someone who shared your birthday?

This one threw me a bit. I could definitely relate to some aspects of this guy's personality. 

However: I have known two people, a guy and girl, who were the closest I've ever met to people who percieved and experienced things similarly, but were both born around three weeks earlier on August 29th in the same year as me.

But also a guy who was part of a friend circle I once had, didnt know him that well. 

Same day, same hospital same year was a girl who lived a couple of doors away. Our parents went to the same church and thats how they knew each other, and as we grew up, me anf their girl became good friends. 

Havent seen or heard from her in about 20 years now.

At del Posto in New York, the day before we celebrated our birthdays, I met a couple, the wife being exactly the same age - to the day, to the year.

del Posto was closed on the day of our birthday, and we both picked the day before for a celebratory lunch.

It's the only time I've ever met someone who shares the same day, never mind the same year.

I used to know a girl who was born a day earlier than me, and at the same hospital. Doesn't count.

An ex colleague who worked in a different department. When I found out I asked him what time he was born, he was 6 hours older than me. He took a bit of stick from his office because he looked a good few years older!

At a friends birthday party in Bolton. He was celebrating on my birthday (not his) which was a Saturday. I was introduced to a friends sister who's birthday was also that day, but assumed she was about 5 years younger that me. She was the same age, and we had a surprising amount in common.

Yeah a bloke who owns a local music shop - there are a few years between us. I don’t want to identify the date, as I don’t want to draw attention to it - but we share it with Elton John and Aretha Franklin.

I once went on tour in Europe with a 5 piece band. Me and the trombonist and the tuba player had the same birthday, two and four years apart. What are the odds?

IIRC you only need around 23 people in a room for it to be a 50/50 chance that two of them will share a birthday.

Yes mad as fuck, friend of my wife brought new boyfriend round shared the same first name as me and the same birthday in the same year. I think she fancies me and he was the nearest she could possibly get. No other explanation.

There was a girl in school with the same birthday as me, but she was one year older although we were in the same class.  Never really got to know her.  I wished her happy birthday once and it freaked her out a bit...

The only person I'm aware of who was born on the same day, same year as me is Boris Johnson.
