Another good game. After a few first round duds the drama and tension is ramping up. Last night’s swiss serbia game was a classic. I think European teams will come through stronger in the knock outs with their resilence and solid defence.

Man who knows! I don’t follow football except for the world cups and euros so I have no real expertise but I feel like anything could bloody happen at the moment!

I honestly don't think you can read a lot into form at this point. As has been said, there aren't the easy games in the WC that you used to have in the past (or not as many), and ultimately, it is later on that the big teams lift their game. 

There are always exceptions, but teams like Brazil, France, Germany in the QF or SF will likely be a different kettle of fish compared to the group stages.

I am really enjoying seeing Ronaldo lift Portugal, and Hazard (and Lukaku!) doing so well for Belgium. Lets hope tomorrow, we can add Kane to that as well.

Great free kick by Germany. Might spur them on to some form. Should we beat the mighty panama we are still on course forc Brazil or Germany on the quarters.

It was common in international matches that the camera crews spent a long time searching for attractive young women in the crowd. That had gone away a bit and Russia seem to have adopted the alternating eccentric bloke-attractive woman approach to crowd surfing.
