There were some great films released in my year of birth (1976) but for me it’s got to be Rocky. What’s your favourite film from your year of birth?

Tough one; got a good range to choose from including The Birds, Hud, Dr. No, The Leopard,The Pink Panther and Lord of the Flies. But it has to be The Great Escape

1959 has some French New Wave films that are obviously 'important', but my personal favourites (of the 1959 films  I have seen) would probably be Some Like It Hot, Our Man in Havana, and Tiger Bay

From Russia With Love one of the box office hits of 1964 but released 1963 so I probably can’t have that.
