Just got a buyer for my Tele - or my partscaster as this place would have it - on reverb and that's it. That was the fourth or fifth and everyone has been so not a favourite guitar.

Just saying, I know I'm not alone.

Yes Sir the Forth of Fifth is indeed a lovely place . 3/4's ought to do it but depends on the light and if Derek is there

I'm saying that I don't get on with, although I like the concept of, Telecasters.

I think it's probably that they are ugly and for cowboys.
My Trade Feedback Thread is here

Been uploading old tracks I recorded ages ago and hopefully some new noodles here.

You would think you could ascertain that without purchasing five of them though.

Unless you are restricting yourself to a strictly vintage spec you can pretty much have anything you want out of a Tele.

I've tried a Vintange something or other, a Deluxe Nashville, a Baja, an American Standard and a Classic 60s.  All different.

It's something about the sound.  Maybe I should try one with humbuckers or P90s.  But it's not really a Tele then is it.

It was a Classic Series 60s with a chunky (Fender) neck.  No big deal.

Generally though, you may well be right.

Is this a cunningly disguised WTB ad?

I think what the gentleman is trying to say is that 'Teles are shit' and I would agree.

I thought it was 7/8, not 3/4, or am I getting it confused with Cinema Show?

Are you saying you just sold your partcaster on reverb.

It was your 4th or 5th telecaster and you never got on with every single one of them and you think there are others who feel the same?
