    Until your first post on this thread, I had  forgotten about the "50s style" Les Pauls.

    I have no doubt whatsoever that those  CS guitars - and the 2012 Historics - are a mixture of decent guitars and great guitars, (just like any other year). But any buyers need to know where  the market values them before they buy. Because the person who buys from you will definitely know.

    I've owned all the reissue.
    For me, the improvements introduced post 2014, make a great difference. 
    Before 2014, the bass on the les paul, tends to be blommy. IMHO

    The True Historics I have played were, to me, a cut above the rest. The law of diminishing returns applies obviously, I think they were about 8k.

    I fully expect to be pilloried for this.
