@keefy, me too sometimes. Superb with pedals or MFX too. Cleans are superb. I put a Russian EH 12AX7 in V2 to make the distortions more crunchy & Marshally, which I prefer. btw I meant lighter/smaller that a 2x12 not 1x12 (you posted so fast it was before I spotted my typo lol  )

BTW - love your 'converted' Princeton. <3
    Yeah, I'd had enough of back-breaking 2x12s when I got the VC30.

    And thanks!

Currently just a Marshall Mini Jubilee combo. I'm thinking of replacing it with the head version, or maybe moving up to the 100w. Would also like to have a Laney GH again! The PRS MT15 is on my radar too.

    THR10ii (20w)
Marshall G30R CD (not my pic)

Really happy with the first two. Will probably see if i can get the Marshall sold for £40 or something.

I watched a YouTube video of Ryan 60 cycle hum using one of those Surfy Bear reverbs and really liked it.

    1976-ish?  Burman Pro501 1x12 combo

    Katana 50w Combo

Roland Cube 30 bass combo (in the workshop covered in wood dust)

Laney 50w acoustic combo (upstairs somewhere)

Other than getting another Katana combo to record in stereo (which I doubt I'll ever be bothered to do), I only really need the first two.

I'd sell the Laney but it's too much hassle.

I have a bunch, and I've been through a ton, but to be quite honest I could sell them all apart from my little Bogner Duende. Since I have had it I really never need anything else. Its the perfect amp for me. Maybe I'll keep the Laney AOR 100 incase my tinnitus ever goes away and I happen to need to play a stadium...

    Two Roland Jazz Choruses:
    JC-22
    JC-40

    Five Roland Blues Cubes:
    Hot
    Hot British EL84
    Hot BOSS Drive
    Tour
Tour (with an Ultimate Blues capsule)

    BOSS Nextone Stage

3 Blackstar HT-1R heads (long story)

    Joyo Bantamps for kicks:
    Atomic
    Bluejay
    Jackman
    Meteor

3 1x12" cabinets with different speakers.
How goes it with the tone capsule Vs the stock amp? I'm using the Sparkle Clean... it's great for some things...
Pardon the delayed reply. I like the Ultimate Blues. More mid scoop than the stock amp's more tweed sounds for sure, and with a nice low-mid gain breakup. I also picked up a Sparkle Clean not long after my post, and I agree - it works for some things. Of course, for me, no amp works for all things.

  • Mine's not very exciting... hardly worth pictures, but it suits me.
Orange Rocker 30 (head and open-back 2x12) for band use (although it's set up at home at the moment while banding is illegal) and a Spark for when I can't (or can't be bothered to) use the big amp.
