Broken Idols with Broadway Clash and Dave Underhand at The Islington, Tolpuddle St, Islington N1 this evening - doors 7, BI 8.30. BI are playing our originals set followed by one of the premier Clash tribute acts in the country. Should be a great evening if any of the London FBers are looking for a night out. Burning Sky are at the Jolly Sailor in Cawood near York tomorrow night (Sat). Great little pub with a superb selection of beers from it's own brewery.

Borrowed Time are at the White Hart Crawley tonight. We weren't supposed to be but the venue had a diary malfunction. We have had to borrow the bass player from @Flanging_Fred ; band Sound Shifters so it promises to be an interesting evening.

Playing at a 40th birthday party tonight.  Nice club, big stage.  Then we've nothing in the diary for 4 weeks so maybe we'll get a chance to work on some new material.

Agent Utah will be rounding the year off in our usual way with our annual big xmas bash.

Including The Darkness's Xmas Bell's End - a song that has taken an inordinate amount of practice to get right, for a single one-off outing. That's rock and roll quality control.

Surrey's finest stock brokerbelt middle aged dad classic rock cover band Wanted Men are doing a nano set at the Star Dorking, should be on about 9.45.

Just picked up a dep gig for tonight. Some godforsaken caravan park near Bradwell power station. They'd better have enought power for my pedal collection!

I've only played with this outfit once about 4 months ago, so it will be 'entertaining' if nothing else. I was only going to get s#itfaced anyway so thats saved me feeling crap tomorrow when the grandchildren are staying for 24 hours.

True Reflections will be finishing off the year (we don't do NY Eve) with a gig at The Pickering Arms, Thelwall (Cheshire) tonight.  It should be a good night, not least because I retired from the day job yesterday and the drummer retires today.
