probably the browser extensions/toolbars again.
so many webpages insist or trick you into installing them, and they are also bundled in with and install with other softwares
because you have installed them 'yourself', the various malware scanners dont always list them as things to remove.
they are like leeches, they hang around where there is freeware, free online games etc.
windows are always popping up saying things like 'you need to update flash player now!' and its a trick to get you install their bullshit.
