It's FAR too cold for outdoor spraying, 11 degrees was the best it got here this weekend, and wet!

As an opening sentence goes this is right up there with Dickens' "it was the best of times, it was the worst of times" or Melville's "Call me Ishmael".. D

Done for the day, just a few little jobs like nut slots, new brass saddles need notching, cut a new truss rod cover and sort some decals.

We're going to have to wait a while longer for the push-pull coil-split / series-parallel mods then I take it dude .. :)

It needs a nickel switch nut too :). I think I have some spare if you can't find one.

    Thanks.
Its medium shiny, after I got the base and clear coats on it became apparent I'd missed a few dinks and bumps here and there, so I didn't go full gloss finish thinking it would look odd, so it now looks lightly used and well kept

The original should be a semi-recessed knurled one with fairly coarse teeth, but nickel not black.

    :)

Finding original Matsumoku strap buttons would be quite a challenge too - very rare.
