Nice! Although being early 90s, that would have been considered "modern" and I'd already got one 90s and one 21st century song (only allowed that one as it was number one at the time of the quiz). I'm half the average age of the quiz attendees...

Gar! I oto have smelt it, there was a serious whiff, nay, a positive tench of a panga impending disappointment! Some goby wahoo stole my sole fish pun! Literally the zingel one I had! I let out a grunt of disbelief when I saw that post. I was just about to say that Sporkers' return to the forum and subsequent return to form had been a ray of sunshine lately. Truly I felt that that subtle pun would have been worthy of an oscar, unlike some of the crappie, hoki ones in this thread. I will now console myself with a garibaldi, the one true biscuit.
