Tele Deluxe has a 7.25" radius rather than 12"
There’s always just one tiny detail that’s wrong innit.
The case candy also is a right old shower of s**t (looks like the same case candy as the AO) compared to the old AV.
Some might think why, but Fender have totally learned their lesson here - offer the vintage specs that people wanted back from the AV line, but don't offer such a slick package like the 2012-17 AVs that absolutely killed desire for a lot of custom shop orders?
Still, the Guitars themselves should still be nice! A little annoyed they went with a more drastic neck tint but hey ho. A THIN Poly sealer coat is fine by me with some nitro on top, flash coats weren't actually how they did the 50s/60s instruments anyway, to my knowledge. I think the Wildwood Thin Skins/AO are the closest to historic spec in terms of finish specs (both thicker than a flash)
