I’ve got the Cure in December, but typically I don’t really do arena gigs. This will be the first since Neil Young and Crazy Horse.

Lewsberg next week in a pub and Viagra Boys at Rock City in January.

That’s it at the moment - but my diary will fill up next year with up and coming/fringe bands in small venues in the £5-£15 range which is the sweet spot for me right now.

  • So far I have tickets for Pulp, Eels, and Bis. Probably three of my top five favourite bands, so not too shabby at all.

Sadly not all on the same bill. :-D

Just got a ticket for Dirty Honey at the Craufurd arms in MK (250 capacity!) they are superb, so I’m very happy with that.

I’m going to see Big Thief at Brixton. I think that’s in April.

I’m tempted to go and see Max Richter in Cheshire in July, but haven’t booked tickets.

I can't help about the shape I'm in, I can't sing I ain't pretty and my legs are thin

But don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to

Only got Hundred Reasons/Hell is for Heroes booked so far for next year....but after journeying back to Rock City for the first time in years last night to watch Deaf Havana, I've definitely got the itch back for more live music next year.

How could I forget I’ve also booked this!

  • Cowboy Junkies.

Pavement are coming to town, but they have no new material and they are probably too old to be the band they were.

The Darkness and Black Stone Cherry in Brum are the only tickets I've picked up so far, January....

Considered Maiden but tbh last time I saw them I was disappointed and Bruces voice sounded rough on the last South America dates they put in YT, so I've swerved them. Looking to see if Metallica do any gigs pre Download and I'll go and see them.

Having seen them mentioned I'm gonna check out Kenny Wayne tix and I think I'll pick up some Maiden tribute tickets instead

  • Bought tickets for North Sea Jazz for next year. Wish I could go also to lytham festival for Jamiroquai and Sting, but hoping maybe they are gonna be in the lineup at northsea.
Been this year also and it was worth it, for 300 euros I got to see a lot. Seen John McLaughlin, George Benson, Eric Gales, Christone Ingram Fisher, Marcus King, Julian Lage, Cory Wong, Mark Lettieri and some like Hiromi Uehara, Diana Krall, Herbie Hancock, Jacob Collier, Nile Rodgers, Diana Ross and a lot of other stuff that cant remember now.

The beer was very expensive like 7 or 8 euros a 0.2 or 0.3L glass and I kind of hate indoor concerts also . But if you count price per band, north sea jazz is very good. The passes for whole 3 days are sold out now, but single day tickets will go on sale on the 1st of Feb

Other than that, hope I can catch Matt Schofield in Uk next year to sign my supreme pedal :)

They’re brilliant for a new band. Live set looks great too. Plenty of soulful singing and some cool jams!
