I think we differ about the finish on them a bit, don't we? I really like the Eastman 'ageing' - this one's a bit more subtle than my sunburst one. Here's a few more pics of it so you can see if it floats your boat, so to speak.

I must admit, I'm pleasantly surprised at the amount of interest that it's received (via PM particularly) on here.

Wow, that Eastman is beautiful. Bet it sounds even better than it looks, too. GLWTS!

If this had a bigsby I think I'd be joining DB1 in his favourite dogging spot.

Not to forget the public conveniences and deserted woodland glades, Jim. Not that you would of course....   =)

Just to address the Bigsby point - I think that these work very well with a Bigsby. My last T64/v had one and (unlike my experiences with ES-330's) didn't unbalance it at all.

What I did find was that the string tension was a little high on it, and I put this down to the Bigsby  - it could have just been that guitar (which was absolutely lovely) but I specifically wanted to find one without a Bigsby this time, to see if it made any difference. It has, and of course it's super light.

On hold: but not the Eastman strangely enough - the Epiphone.

Via Facebook though, not here. It's a lovely guitar and a bit of a bargain, given today's prices.

    Epiphone sold via Facebook. Blimey.

Eastman still available - lots of interest and a couple of close deals but still here at the moment.

Go, another bump then. A few trade offers so far (one is interesting), a couple of cash offers from Facebook and eBay (the price is the price, sorry) a couple of nice offers of deposits (I'm a bit uncomfortable with them as if anything goes wrong I'm too soft to keep a deposit!) and that's it so far.

If I wasn’t spending all my money on your amp, I’d probably want to spend it on this guitar. The nicest Casinos out there I reckon.

You are clearly a man of taste and discernment. Shall I bring it with me? =)

What is the nut width of the T64 and is it sold yet?

    Thanks

Dave kindly measured it for me the other day. Looked to be a shade over 43mm from the pics he sent me. Definitely not as wide as the T486 I had, which I think was over 44mm.

Yes, it's just over 43mm according to my hi-tec measuring equipment - a plastic ruler with cartoon bears on it. It's definitely not cramped.

Yes, still for sale, although quite a few trade offers have been received etc, and there's a chap from Facebook that's desperate for it. At least I assume it's the guitar that he's on about, as he hasn't seen my photo.

Played it last night and this morning,  and I'm at the stage where I definitely don't mind if it doesn't sell.

Gotta be worth another bump! Half a dozen trade offers, 30 watchers on eBay and a Facebook chap that was desperate to get his hands on my splendid instrument but has inexplicably gone quiet since I mentioned the layby. Could have misread it as 'ladyboy' I suppose.

Oh, and it's about 6lb 7oz. The guitar, that is.

As it has not sold yet I think it is Gods way of telling you to keep hold of it, you know you will regret selling it :).

I have the sunburst Bigsby version and it is a fine guitar, plays beautifully and is so resonant unplugged.

I know, I know. It's such a nice guitar. Purely a financial decision, although I may have to offer my body to strangers instead.

On an unrelated matter, do you know how many 50 pence pieces the banks will accept in one go?

Whenever I have change, including 1p and 2p, I go to my trusted local butcher and do the exchange into notes if I don't have something to buy there and then. So do you have a trusted local shop that could use the change, that could do that for you, instead of the bank?

Not if I tell them how I earned all those 50 pence pieces. ;)

Do they care? Unless there are 30 of them and made of silver...
