eBay reduced final value fee offers

I haven’t had one of these in about six months now - and I do have a few things I need to sell

Have they stopped these altogether? Or have you chaps had such offers come in over the past few weeks?

Not stopped - I had an 80% off FVF offer which applied for this latest weekend.

(And I've had at least 2 other offers in the last two months.)

You must have upset the algos somehow.

I get them every couple of weeks, but for 70% off.

I get an 80% off fvf every couple of weeks for the last few months. 

Some people get 70% off fvf and other £1 final value fee. 

Not sure if they are given out randomly or there is method to it.

80% off every 2 weeks for the last year or so. 

Not as good as the old £1 final value fee but it's not bad either.
 No idea how they decide who gets offered what.

No luck - currently my “standing“ is just fine, but the eBay advisor tells me that the allocation of this promotion is completely random. Perhaps the next time one of your chaps gets such a promotion in your email you might be so kind as to forward me the email / link?

If I were to click on it, and then sign in as me, perhaps it might activate the whole process for me once again…?

@jaymenon I had a similar issue. It was because I had a few items that were automatically relisting and not selling, that I'd basically forgotten about for months. I managed to fix it by ending those so that I had nothing listed for sale. 

A week or two later I got the 80% promo, and have been getting it every two weeks since.

Dont get emails with them anymore, but i check messages every other friday morning and theres usually one there.

They are every 2 weeks - usually now in your messages and not on the front page banner.

Thanks guys I checked my messages & the last time I received an 80% off final value fees offer was in February 23...

I've had a £1 final fee message a couple of times in the last month so they seem to be back, was 80% before that.

I don't believe the actual links are personalised. It would take me to s sign-in page at which point I would sign in as myself - at that point I may (or may not) be allowed to avail of the offer…

I went 6 months or so without one, then they started again, but notifications were no longer sent by email. If I check ebay messages, there are offers every fortnight - currently 80% fvf.

I almost never receive eBay’s reduced fee offers, I’ve had maybe one or two in the last year and not used them. I also almost never sell anything on eBay. Are the two things connected I wonder?
