I had to leave so many out..
Most are obvious..
Some maybe less so..
I picked up the guitar because of William Reid and Johnny Ramone..
It wasn't technical music to play,,but sounded great to me at the time..
I learned Barre Chords very quickly playing along with the first Ramones album and was in my first band after 3 weeks of picking the guitar up..I had to be able to do it,I wanted it so bad, failure wasn't an option..lol
It seems many people admire technical players before they start playing..
Then after a few years of learning join a band...
I kind of did it backwards..lol
It goes without saying the band were awful,I never auditioned, friends asked me to join.

I used to be into blues rock/heavy rock soloists. Clapton, Page, Green, May, Blackmore and so on. Jeff Beck is top of that pile for keeping his playing interesting over the decades.
As I've become more interested in pop rock and song wrting over the years (ironic since I've also lost any hope of being in a band!) I've become more interested in more rhythm playing and melodic stuff and stuff that serves the song more.
Less conventional players like Neil Young have kept my interest longer than say Clapton for example.
McCartney - love many of his solos and riffs over the decades as well as his other more obvious talents.
Marr, Richards/Taylor, Annie Clark, Doherty/Barat, all the dudes playing on 60s surf and RnB/soul records... don't know many names!
There's loads of great YouTube guitarists. Bukovac, Chris Buck and so on, but I've never knowingly listened to any songs they've written or played on so I've only really had a passing interest in them.
Anyway, not really a favourites person so not sure why I wrote this!
Check it out!
Doesn't seem so strange seeing him playing a non Washburn N guitar. I swear that's the same guitar he messed around with when he was at Rick Beato's.
Speaking of Nuno, in no particular order except for the top 3....
