Finally got it to update late last night  (thanks to the advice from octatonic).

So far the 4 I'm using seems faster and there are several nice touches - not so sure about the andriody looks but it is a definite step forward :)

  • I like it. It's clean and clear and I thought it looked a bit android like to start with, but it really isn't. It's the same old apple logic inside. Far far better than the fisher price shit that android do.

I think if you are an apple person - nothing can persuade you that anything else is any better

I think you get locked in/used to your chosen system?

I like it. Battery life seems similar on my 4S.

One thing I'd really like them to do is integrate the calendar & reminders.

I have no scientific proof, but I think battery life is a bit better!

Yesterday I'd have strongly disagreed - today I'm not sure.....

Maybe it uses less power on day 2!

    I could be wrong still.
Normally I plug it in to charge as soon as I get to work, before it runs out. This morning I plugged in just before lunch.

Of course I may have just used it less last night.

  • Battery life seems a little down on my 4S but not drastically so. I've also probably been using it a bit more than usual because of the new shiny.

Ars did a review of iOS7 on an iPad2.

It does seem to hammer the battery a bit harder.

I've had it a day and I'm really liking some of the new touches. The control centre is great and was the only thing I really missed when I lost my jailbreak by updating the iOS last time. Like the Rolodex safari pages and the new multitasking, lots of nice new little touches I'm very impressed with. What I don't like is the butt ugly overly colourful 1 dimensional icons, they're horrid and ruin the whole feel.

I've noticed battery life on my iPad 2 is worse than on the Mini or iPhone 4s.

  • There's a bit of a flaw in the lock screen security;

You can bypass the lockscreen to get to full camera roll and from there, FB, Twitter email etc. A bit of a bug.

Having now used it for a few days on my iPhone 5, I would say it is a definite improvement as opposed to just being different .
It just seems easier to navigated about than before.
Not sure it looks any better though.

I've stuck it on my iphone 4s and ipad 2, I like it - I thought at first it looked a little washed out but I think you have to select a strong wallpaper.

The ipad was draining battery like a leaking tap at first but seems to have setteled a bit, although not to old levels. No issues with the iphone.

Installed iOS7 on my iPad today.  Bloody hell!!  Looks like Apple are learning from Microsoft.

Has anyone figured out how to delete favourites?  Spent the last hour or so Googling this and absolutely no joy.  Thanks.

  • Battery life on my 4s is greatly improved, but it does take longer to charge.

Still getting used to some of the navigation changes, i.e. in Safari when you have multiple pages open.

    Ipad2 however is slower..........

Aaaaggggghhhhhhh,  the (lack of) ability and the caliber of the iOS7 programmers defies logic?  I cannot set the time on my iPad and it is stuck trying to 'get' the Time Zone.

Bill Gates -------- come back, all is forgiven.

Turn off auto-detect time zone and set it manually. Saves battery too :)

I had problems accessing iTunes Store since upgrading.
Read a load of various "cures" on the net but no real success. I did manage to access it by just leaving itune store on for a while. Now I can't access it again.
    Any similar experiences out there?

When I bought my 5s I couldn't see any of my purchases in the App store.
I erased it and started again and now works fine.
