Was offered £20 as a good will gesture for them taking so long as they’ve not been abke to properly review it apparently….

Errr I’d much rather the 1300 I’ve been scammed out of by someone using PayPal to commit fraud more
than once…

I have just withdrawn the £425 raised. Justgiving take 2.9% + 25p which takes us to £412.43

so 206.21 if splitting…

Hey @mankytom, no need to apoligise, what you organised is amazing and huge thanks to you and those who contributed. Extremely kind.

Only delay and delay for me with that offer of £20 for the inconvenience!

We ought to wait until end April/start May to share any monies out to make sure it’s as fair as possible I think As it stands we may both get refunded, one of us or neither and only then will we fully know. If we both get refunded then it should go to the forum for upkeep in my view. If neither then we split it 50-50 as above and if only one gets refunded then I think the other should be given the full amount to minimise the hit they’ve had to take. @glitterjet, you agree with that?

Amazing effort by @mankytom, so grateful for all your help and also to the other people who contributed, I salute you all.    Hopefully the matter will be brought to a close soon.    Be careful using the classifieds, it appears using any form of PP does not guarantee a refund.

Quick update from me, thankfully it appears they’ve finally decided in my favour and I can expect a refund in 5 days. Will confirm here once it arrives.

Yep. Long time coming but got here finally. Trying to get them to give @glitterjet ‘a money back too as if they’ve established it was fraud with me, and we provided the same evidence of the same scam affecting us both, which we did, then ppg&s vs ppff shouldn’t matter as crime is crime and they can’t knowingly facilitate it. So fingers crossed for that too
