I have no idea.  After watching "Easy Rider" I too threw my watch into the desert.*  Okay, it means I'm often late for things, or have to faff about with my phone to check the time, but I did indeed stick it to the Man when I ceased wearing my last Casio.

    * Might have been the bin.

I just don't like wearing jewellery/objects I guess. With the exception of my wedding ring.

I'm also sensitive to leather and metal so I have my reasons.

I'm either sat in a room with a clock, in a car with a clock, in front of a PC with a clock, out and about with my phone or asleep. I also don't need one.

i thought the thread title was some type of euphemism tbh (and yes i do/i'm only human and have to let off some steam ;-)

EDIT in answer to your question,i don't wear a watch either (although i have nothing against watches).i have an ancient casio digital that i will very occasionally wear.

I'm like you in my office [it's part of my house] - I only wear a watch when I go out so I'm a naked wrister for much of the time.

No display of nakedness here! My modesty is covered - as it has been for the last 27 years - by my Rolex....

There's more chance of me going out naked than going out without a watch.

Not really interested in watches either, but I wear an eight quid digital casio. Can I still join the club?

I thought it was going to be about the use of Hetfield-style wristbands when playing guitar....

I wear a watch, but it's only a sub-£10 Casio to tell me the time, I'm not a watch enthusiast.

I haven't worn a watch in years (my life is too regimented into hour long slots during the day!!)  but my new phone is too mahoosive to be pulling it out to check the time so I've cracked under the pressure of seeing so many watch posts and I'm thinking over going over to the other side ...   unless I spend the money on a guitar first :)

    Turncoat!

I should add I have nothing against watches or watch wearers.

I'm just surprised by the level of interest people still show in them - and the fact we must have had 5 or 6 watch threads in OT recently.

No watches to be found here, only the highest quality chronographs*!

*please tell me none of you call watches chronographs.

I wear a watch intermittently. It had been on loan to my girlfriend for a while and i've started wearing it again now.
I wear lots of wristbands (yeah, I'm THAT guy) and i'd feel naked without them

I don't wear one either. I like a nice watch but I can't be bothered most of the time.

I have two pocket watches, no wrist watches.

Can't recall last time I had a watch on. I actually stayed with the same employer for 21 years :-O   so I have an expensive watch. It needs a service but I haven't bothered.
Even those phones that will do nothing, no camera etc.......those phones know what time it is.

I once had a chunky black leather wrist strap with studs and a Timex watch on it. The strap fell apart in 1984 and I haven't worn a wrist watch since. I've thought about getting a pocket watch, but never done it since I've not been aware of suffering for lack of knowing "the time". "Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so".

    EDIT I always know when it's gin o'clock :)
