EHX DMM, specifically the 1100-TT version - never fails to delight my ears.

Benson is analog-sounding-digital fwiw - same chips as the Skreddy and EQD Disaster Transport.

    Sounds bloody good though
    Oops ;)

I love my DOD Rubberneck. I don't use the wacky modulation but I do enjoy holding the footswitch for a tape delay osculation. Really useful features on board (tone and gain pots, trails, tap tempo, sub divisions) to shape the sound. I'm sure some units sound better but the functionality is quite unique

+1 on the Rubberneck. Also good value, depending on when you buy it.

Ibanez ad202 rack delay, but in a pedal I really like Jam Delay LLama.

My co guitarist has a DM2-W and it's wonderful. I'm still using the Alter Ego if I'm playing my non-Helix board but I'm very much considering the Boss.

I love my Belle Epoch. It sounds analogue, even if some of it is digital.
Ditto, the Catalinbread Echorec. A digital recreation of the original Binson - including simulated wow and flutter type modulation artefacts.

Another vote for big box DMM.

I also love the Boss DM-2, but it’s too dark for band stuff really.

I've never tried a Rubberneck or Belle Epoch. Now y'all have got my gassing.

I also wanna try the Suhr one but it's so much money...

Another vote for the Rubberneck. I love the tone of the repeats and the fact that you can control the gain on the repeats. It's got a lot of character.

I'm also using the echoman as a more compact option,  and I really like it.

I’m also considering the Nano DMM as a small-board alternative but I do wonder what it will give me over and above the Memory Toy that I already have.

I’ve just got an Aqua puss, compared it against some other stuff and it is very simple but it sounds ‘real’, whatever I mean by that

I have a rubberneck and a DM2w which are great in different wAys. I also had a few others but my favourite was an old Arion SAD1. That thing had some magic in it.

The Diamond Memory Lane Jr is not strictly analogue but its certainly a lovely sounding thing that's not a million miles away from the earlier analogue versions. It's perhaps not so murky sounding as other choices, more on the clear (but still warm) end of the tonal spectrum. Nice modulation, long delay times, tap tempo. Nice compromise between analogue and digital.

A proper DMM is hard to beat, though I really love the Moog MF Delay* and the WH Aqua Puss too.

Obligatory Moog MF-104M response, because it’s just objectively better than everything else.

Honourable mentions however go to: Jam Delay Llama Xtreme, Chase Bliss Tonal Recall RKM and Fairfield Meet Maude, which are all lovely.

I went from an EHX Memory Boy to a Carbon Copy and then finally settled with an EHX DMM (XO).

The MB and CC were good, but the DMM sounds less dark and the slightly brighter repeats just give a nicer texture while still melting into the background for me.

I’ve never tried any of the Boss DMs but would love to one day.
