Poopot's Cover Challenge #28 - the letter O

OK ... mines in. In the sprit of info share, this one nearly broke me at times ha ha. Ended up with:

146 tracks of audio sent to
20 group busses sent to
5 section busses sent to 
1 mix buss sent to
The master buss

A large number of those tracks were for the three distinct drum kits I needed to use.
The section busses to balance each of the movements within the track.
The mix bus so I could automate some EQ as the track went on.
Yes, I am now addicted to sustainers with slides.

I ran out of RAM at one point. With 128Gb that felt almost impossible. But I did, so I had to bounce all instruments to wavs to continue mixing.

I hope you enjoy it because I'm being sectioned now for the next 4 months.

I haven’t started yet. Am hoping to bash 1 or 2 out le weekend but I have buggered my back so drumming may be a challenge

Yeah I’ve only got 7. However mixing is on hold as my cold has gone to my left ear and I can’t hear properly.

I've got 8 bars of drums and keyboard in two tracks in my DAW

Think I better get my finger out and do a bit more over the next couple of weeks

If it's the song I'm thinking of, it's quite an appropriate title to be done multiple times

Mine seems to be truncated? The play list says it's 3:32 long, but it should be more like 4:48? Should I resend the mp3?

I could replace the file to see if that sorts it. I've just checked and the one you sent me is 4.48 so I don't think you'd need to resend

Was watching TV a couple of nights when Yazoo's Only You came on and I thought why not cover it for O. I then realised the verse progression seemed familiar so I decided to invent a completely original riff to go with it and do it in a classic rock style.

And sorry for the intro vocals - didn't realise it went so high and that I had to hit a tenor C which isn't fun for a natural bass-baritone
