I like Musk, he is more switched on than most. Id have one of his sex bots but it would need to give a decent foot rub.
Surely you would have task-specific robots? Not every robot for every task would require the same, er, accoutrements.

By the way, If you're thinking about buying a Tesla, Mr Musk has pledged $45m a month to the Trump campaign.

Musk is obviously an even bigger cnut than I'd previously thought.

With every passing day, Musk is morphing into the Bond villain he always wanted to be.

Anyone know if he's bought any sharks lately?

What would you use yours for?

You do realise that around here 95% of the responses will be "sexbot" don't you?

Maybe that will be the end of the human race - shagging robots because it's easier than getting into a real girls pants and hence a massive drop in birthrate and being out numbered by frustrated sexbots...

I'm imagining an already overcrowded tourist spot such as St Mark's Square in Venice, or Santorini, or the Louvre.  Then I start to imagine tourists of the future bringing their humanoid assistants with them to such places.  As if overcrowding wasn't bad enough already.

They are on the road today of course.

Some people don't like 'em. What a surprise.

Teslas aren't self-driving; they're just good active cruise control + lane keep assist. They're nowhere near real self-driving, as the cone shenanigans easily demonstrate.

The cone stuff was targeting Cruise vehicles. Tesla wishes it was as advanced as Cruise, which is nowhere compared to Waymo

lol even better. As you say Teslas are nowhere that level of self driving. Ol' Musky has been saying it's coming "next year" for at least a decade now. It's vaporware.

When he builds a truck that isn't a meme machine that leaks, floods, cracks, rusts, can barely go off-road, etc etc I might consider taking them seriously but Tesla is a joke these days

Honestly, I wouldn’t touch anything that Musk is involved with. He's a truly horrendous human being.
I wouldn’t piss on him if he was on fire.

Would he be stupid enough to publicaly deny this though? What he did say is that he organised a political action committee, now I wont pretend to understand everything about PAC's however I also wont pretend that the BBC will and has in the past reported lies, it would be interesting to see what his PAC actually does because my limited understanding is that they do more than just pool donated funds and give them to a candidate.
We also have to remember Musk is a business man, not a politician.

I used to lik Musk, until the pandemic and then he went a bit too cuckoo for my liking.  The whole Twitter takeover and then policy shift shows he is just a bond villain in the making.  want to make Twitter a "Town Hall" on the internet and protect "Free Speech" my butt.  If you ever criticise him on Twitter, you will at minimum get blocked or more likely have your account deleted.

The guy used to support the Democrats I think but about the same time he has shifted very Maga and gone completely off the rails into vile territory.

Yup. It was the "pedo guy" comments relating to the rescue of the Thai football team in the cave that tipped it over the edge.

When he was the "socialised renewables for everyone via solar roof & batteries and no more power stations" guy I was all-in. I still fully believe that model would be an incredible way to change the world for the better. I don't even know if he still cares about that

From recent observations, if Musk were on fire in a Tesla, then pissing on him wouldn't make the slightest difference.
