  • Thanks. Pretty sure that's the official number listed on their site.

  • The best 'vintage' trems are the Demeter and Supa Trem...

But THE best trem for ALL sounds including 'future' ones Drew, is the Goatkeeper. Fully programmable, amazing sounds

I had the Catalinbread Semaphore for a while.

Thats so adjustable it's silly and the new one comes with tap tempo.

Mine was the original small unit but did operate and sound very, very good.

I haven't owned this myself but I know two people who have these and would highly recommend the cusack tap-a-whirl.Its very versatile, and you can store a couple of presets on it. It sounds good from what I have heard from gigging with them.

There's a cracking DIY project I've seen (I'll have to go dig a link up) based on the TAPLFO chip and a versatile board design that you can pretty much build to be as complex and feature rich as you want, seen some really good projects based on it. When I'm on a real computer I'll bed a link but it looks like tons of fun!.

Toneczar power glide or light foot labs gk3 I'd say. They have their own thing going on but are fairly pricey. Too many trem pedals emulate amp trem but don't compare. If you want valve trem get a Princeton or something.

The best? haha good luck with that! Warped Vinyl works for me but I've very simple trem needs.

  • ....perhaps another reason to consider the H9?

I'm now sat watching the goatkeeper vids... urrrrghhhhh gas

  • Indeed. I use it for a variety of trems, from the choppy 'Whats the Frequency Kenneth' to more bluesy subtle oscillation.

I remember really liking the Seymour Duncan Shape Shifter. Just wish it was smaller.

I've actually got one of those! But it's not really the one for me. Will probably sell it at some point.

But if he needs his hands down to work it he won't be able to play will he?!  Should have made it foot controllable at least.

you want a beat sync'd midi enabled pattern tremolo that you can set the drum patterns to and then have the trem sequence follow them (scatter in some triplet feel). (then assign the drum pattern signal to a different out and not use it ;^)

Also you want note triggered tremolo

... and a normal sequenced tremolo

    and a tap tempo ...

and all of that shit for a wah, phase, chorus etc

What will he be then, actor, wrestler, veteran, governor and author Jesse Ventura? Tell him.. he needs to know:
