  • Give a man time. He's got to figure out what to trade it for before he does anything silly like writing a review :D

OK after fiddling with it for 20 mins, it's bloody lovely. I suspect, once I've worked out all the functions, it's a bit of a game changer....the BPM corrector is stellar!

OK- so let's say you think you need 470ms for a certain song...so you start playing it and maybe it's played at 440ms because your drummer can't keep time- it corrects the delay times to the cadence of your playing. Seriously.

    (you can bypass it thankfully)

hmmm, strange... don't see why you'd want that if you've got a tap switch.

Because when you tap something in you're not always very accurate- so it takes your tap time, and then increases or decreases by +/- 20% depending on the timing of what you're playing. Neat.

It's got a little microphone in it so I think the idea is that you tap in at the start and if the drummer wanders off tempo the delay pulls it back in.

Maaaan there is NO comparison. Honestly. One sounds like a delay. The other sounds like a delay with a sock over the speaker.

I'd nearly convinced myself that I could be happy with a Vox Delaylab. . .

It's actually not as difficult as I first thought to programme- however, the buttons are so small I need my reading glasses to see them- so how you'd do it on the fly on stage is beyond me. Lush pedal though- I still like the chrono mind you...
