Had some holidays to use up so Wednesday was my last day. Am back to work on 5th January.

Went to a German bar near Borough Market yesterday afternoon with a mate for a few beers, then onto Camden Brewdog for a few more! Its been a busy year at work so definitely appreciating the time off so far.

Working 25th and 26th. Will be having our Christmas on the 27th.

4ish on Christmas eve, then back in on 29th,30th and 31st, then off till the 12th. I had the bit off inbetween last year and not many other seniors are around this year, so not fussed about going in and sorting out paperwork.

Should finish this evening, but may well have to work some of tomorrow or Weds. Then back in on Monday but it'll be a very quiet week next week so not too bad (our weekend is Fri/Sat and 1 Jan is holiday so only 3 days)

Been told we can leave at 1:30 today, but have to spend 2 hours in the pub as a team bonding kind of thing-I can oblige on that front...my team are pretty cool and I'm, happy to have a few beers with them.

10am Christmas Eve then back again on the monday.

We're getting the 2nd off this year as a pressie for being good.

Which on top of a half dozen free ice-cream or barbecue days and a sneak-attack 6.5% pay-rise out of the normal cycle suggests the new box actually wants the staff to be happy... some things do change

We are working in and out of Moscow at the moment, and they have a national shut down from xmas eve until mid Jan, more or less. Not bad. Mind you, its so chuffing cold, probably a good thing. I go back on the 19th, likely to be minus 20 during the day.
