Erm, nope - if you're going to make a joke about how Worcester is pronounced, it would be "In England, booster shot is spelled Borcester shot."

We pronounce the ch and the 'shire', always have. :-S

I mean, no one pronounces Dorchester as 'Dooster', or Colchester as 'Cooster', do they?
If you must have sex with a frog, wear a condom. If you want the frog to have fun, rib it.

I think it’s a reference to most people pronouncing Worcestershire sauce “Wooster sauce”

Something to do with the Archers?

No I don't listen to it, but I have heard that it is based around Borchester or similar.

Except there's the ch, and that's just because most people are too lazy to say the shire bit at the end.

Well this funny ship has a fucking big hole in the hull. For something to be funny, it has to work, and this dunt. Not my fault, just pointing it out.

Borsetshire, but I think there was an element of The Archers in the joke.

I thought it was good, even if it doesn't stand up to Dennis's micro-analysis....

    It’s Worce - ster, not Wor-cester. Sim Leice-ster nor Lei-cester.

Did you know that Charles Dickens' "A Tale of Two Cities" was originally published as a serial in two newspapers?

It was the Bicester Times, it was the Worcester Times.
