18, come at me motherfuckers :D

Got all the bands - only mistake was thinking a couple of items of furniture were also bands.
How do you know they're not? Death metal is for posers, completely inanimate object metal is the only truly extreme form of music.

  • I only got 14 :(

Almost all were also mistaking furniture for death metal bands.

Ikea is basically he'll on earth. About as enjoyable as a colonostomy bag dinner or listening to Scandinavian death metal...

Well if it is a straight choice then I choose actual death over Ikea.

Tis a silly place selling crap to hipsters.

    15 BTW.

Wise words, though the hipsters must be well skint if they resort to Ikea. Spittlefields is where one finds the true, No Logo fixie riding, beard sporting, soy latte loving masters of pretension

  • 9 achieved by the click left click right system. Interestingly my cat who helped me on my first choice was more inteested in the fart sound than the music

Up here what used to be called DINKYs are the frequenters of Ikea and bore everyone rigid within a 2 mile radius.

Plus I think Dundee is the nearest one so they go on tat furniture pilgrimages then waffle on about how hip they really are.

At these times I wish my intestines would strangle my brain in an act of kindness, that or feign uncontrollable Tourette's.

Now there is a forum away day we book a fancy restaurant as the Fretboard Tourettes suffers support group and swear the whole way through the meal horrendously in front of the posh folks.

    So yes probably faux/wannabe hipsters.

    13.

Ikea's OK if you want/need cheap furniture and go in the evening.

Death metal's ok if... erm... no, there must be something... hmm. I'll get back to you on that.

I was in a forerunner to one of those bands back in the nineties.  I also shop fairly regularly at Ikea.

    Go me.

I can certainly say it was hugely more pleasurable listening to the furniture than the bands

As a long term follower of hair/sleaze and all that's glam, I naturally had a brief dalliance with doom and death in the early '90s. I even auditioned for one, during which I had a real 'WTF am I doing here?' moment.

Somehow I was offered the gig. It must have been the eyeliner.

its actually got some 1/2 decent stuff,  thats very hard to beat at the ££ -  book shelves/cupboards etc  - that you can easily improve the joints/connections with a small amount of DIY knowledge.......   Other stuff like chairs/tables/sofa's/kitchens  etc  I would agree with the above statements

Or source parts for pedal boards IIRC.

Granted the Billy bookcase and that sort has a use.

20 out of 20 of course. Thry only used mainstream bands so it was very easy.
