A bit of a feeler - I'll add some photos tonight/tomorrow. It's basically a USA deluxe type thing, but custom shop. Mint with coa and all the other bits. Wanted a relic but bought this on a whim ... Didn't scratch the itch so bought a relic anyway. Haven't played this - it really is mint. This was the one I was going to get Feline to put a floyd on. Might still do, or maybe get it scalloped with Dimarzio injectors in it (really ) Trades are interesting, pedals or higher end guitars. Pics to follow.

I'll be honest, I was going to add them from my phone but can't find them.

I put it in the loft last night, so will probably be tomorrow now.

Or just a loft? With huge temperature extremes and damp?

No, it's just the space above the stairs in my flat. Affectionately referred to as "the loft"; I still need a ladder to get to it, and had to juggle things about to get it in ... also, I've had a beer and I'm about to have my dinner.

Apologies for the last post BTW, that was my attempt at humour ... (note: "attempt")

This has a two point trem, roller nut and the push in bar. Also the S1 switching. Sunburst with maple neck and locking tuners. Very nice ...

For a better idea, mine looks like this:

"is this guitar made by fender" - and by Fender I mean the Fender guitar company - not does it have a Fender decal on the headstock.

Is that what you mean by a USA start but custom shop ? is this a legitimate Fender musical instrument ?

Wow, this all got a bit complicated didn't it? Its a Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster. Made by Fender, with the custom shop logo on the back of the headstock and fender on the front. It has the Fender certificate of authenticity which matches the serial on the guitar

No you're doing OK.  It started very badly with the vague description and lack of photos but you've picked up a lot since then....

There is a vague (or possibly a strong) possibility that this is exactly what I'm after - or not, as the case may (or may not) be.

Confused. If it's a 2009 / 2010 Custom Deluxe (as in the GAK ad), but they didn't come with roller nut or S1 switching.

(Let this advert stand as a lesson for anyone who thinks it's a good idea to put anything up for sale with an advert that was basically a placeholder...)

I'd only picked the GAK picture as it had the two point them and was sunburst with a maple board. I forget the exact year, but I'll update the advert at the top with all the details. It definitely does has the roller nut and S1 though
