For me, the John 5 tele. I hate it.

The worst "standard" one is Epiphone on anything but Epi models.

    After it's the thumb one

    Jackson for me

and I dont like the normal skinny tele headstock either
The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Any Fender large headstock. I can't believe they ruined such a beautiful elegant shape for such a monstrosity.

Dean, the Cort bottle opener one, Seagull, there are so many contenders.
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

This time eighteen bazillion.  None more vomitworthy.

Epiphone, especially on solid bodies.  It just looks wrong on a Les Paul or SG.

I like some of the others mentioned.  PRS is fine by me as is Seagull.  Might just be familiarity though.

The newer prs ones are horrible like the santana one.

So what do people see as the best?
For me gibson open book, and standard prs,

Best is the good old Strat headstock. The bulbous bit on the end is perfect for a Snark - Leo really was ahead of his time!

Suhr or Anderson probably. In some ways they're not that bad, in other ways they're offensively bland and horrible.

Some others are ugly in a way, but also quirky and interesting which actually makes them cool... sort-of.

I must admit I don't like the Starcaster one much either. I always thought they would look better with the standard CBS one, which I have grown to like.

Can't stand either the G&L or Tyler headstocks. Love the Musicman 4+2 mini headstock.

I was going to say Dean or Fret King but I've been beaten to it. And, of course, the Fender large headstock.

Not mad on the Firebird one either.

Never really cared for the Parker Fly headstock.  I tend to agree with @ICBM that the Anderson headstock looks a bit bland but TBH when playing an Anderson, you are not really conscious of that sort of detail.  [Sadly, Andersons tend to highlight playing issues on almost all other guitars, but that is a subject for another thread].

Reverse headstocks always look 'wrong' too but that might just be me......

Absolutely. I've never understood how they craft such beautiful guitars and then carve a headstock that BC Rich rejected as a bit too ugly.

Mind you, that John 5 Tele is a bit of a shocker too.
