I went to the 'dad at a wedding' school of looking awkward and passed with a distinction. I do glide a lot more elegantly on stage wearing a guitar.

I'm so used to watching others dance while I perform, I'm afraid I might stop and stare on a dance floor and be asked to leave!

I have been know to cut a rug, throw some shapes and even bust a move or two.

These days due to the if you don't use it you lose factor it my riddim ain't what it used to be, but not that many years ago I was quite dancetastic.

Didn't say I was good though and do agree with @Monquixote making a tit of oneself is fun and not to be taken too seriously.

Rhythm was a chancer covers my ravetatsic/dancerific stylings to a tee.

Bad dad/granddad dancing ahoy these days I fear.

I once slid across the dance floor on my knees, and proceedd to dance on a cruise ship in the Caribbean,   all the yanks whooped and clapped, all he brits (save mrs bert and a  couple we'd got friendly with)  looked very distastefully  at us

There's a common thing here. Most people saying thatif you ain't prepared to make a tit of yourself, your taking life too serious.
I wholeheartedly agree with this concept, only the other day I realised that I don't trust people who, after being asked, claim that they never do Mick Jagger impersonations when they hear a stones track, even when alone.
That's not normal in my book.

Nope. Never have, never will. It's one of the reasons I started playing guitar - so I'd always be on stage at any event which involved music.

Nobody told me I'd have to move rhythmically on stage, but it's kind of expected these days. I settle for poo-face and some kind of twitching which could be construed as such with a bit of imagination.
