Smashed it!

No faults- did everything fine- so relieved.

The other guy I did my DAS training with put his foot down during the figure 8's so he failed it.

Still have Mod 2 to go- probably going to do that next week.

I was still messing up the odd U turn this morning so I wasn't 100% confident.

It could have gone either way really, but I got through it and really pleased.

Nice one.  I remember being a bit sketchy with the U-turns on my DAS (before the 2 module thing), but it's all the more satisfying to nail it when it counts.

So.... New Bike Day. 

I went and checked out the Street Triple. 

Sounds amazing, right size and weight for me. 

Great riding position. 

Perfect condition, had the 12k service and I got a good price for my YBR as a trade in. 

Plus, they are delivering it. 

Pic to follow as soon as Virgin sort out the Internet problem we are having here.

Had another outing on a XJ6 this afternoon, lovely, flew down the A6 then came back the scenic route(Swithland Woods beautiful part of Leicester) bigger bikes are lovely at sweeping around country roads, very nice I am a little bit addicted.

It has been hard not to buy something earlier but I am glad I waited.

I'm glad I didn't get an ABS bike.

LOL- yes it was one of the first things I did.

It isn't cheap- but I'm ok with it- I've wasted money on worse things and I got the bike I wanted all along.
