I bought an string winder adaptor that fits into the end of an electric screwdriver. It's well good, unless you lose concentration for a split second.

just because you don't, doesn't mean you can't
just because you do, doesn't mean you should.

Quite apart from the fact that the secret santa is organised by my wife's family the idea of a having a massage makes me feel nauseous.

It's tempting, but I'm trying to do away with books.

We can't allow the lower classes access to material which might cause them to think.

Quite right too, hey wait a minute that is me, why I oughta!

I think I remember thinking but unsure what the sensations associated with it are.

  • I remember (vaguely) at school seeing a magazine in the library, and there was an advert with a beach scene in it where an otherwise naked woman was lying on the beach covered in strategic places with paperback books - opened and face down so as to make little tenty shapes over the relevant parts of her body. Also in the pic was a bloke walking along the beach. I've no idea what the advert was for now, but someone had "edited" the scene with a biro: a thought bubble above the bloke's head said "Fahrenheit 451". Nice one ;)
"Working" software has only unobserved bugs. (Parroty Error: Pieces of Nine! Pieces of Nine!)
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself

Now that is a good but disturbing book.

Someone commented that modern life is far more like Huxley imagined than Orwell.

That's just what they want you to think.
