For the record, I'm not Richard! Have never met him, never been to his shop, and never bought anything from him for that matter. I live in Lichfield and am a Civil Servant who works shifts (hence the early start).

These threads though, with half a dozen people pilling in, I imagine they do make this place seem a bit like a small village in Norfolk to a newby as opposed to a cosmopolitan city.

@smarty Hi Martin. If you're the same chap i'm thinking of, I don't think we've meet face to face but we have a lot of mutual friends (Wizzafest crowd etc). Don't be put off by the rocky welcome, there are some great people on here and it's a gear hounds paradise. Richards Guitars threads ALWAYS depend into chaos....perhaps theres an irony there somewhere...so perhaps not the best place to get started but I think you'll find plenty of kindred spirits here....

We'll just need to see some form of photo I.D. and a utility bill from the last 3 months and you're good to go.....
