If I did I'd do a carved top but it's got me thinking

I did the contours today, I had to go further along the fretboard into the cutaway because I've got 22 frets so that upper fret access is better.
Overall I'm quite pleased, this thing is so nice a light.
I'll get pics up later in the week

Carved top Tele's always look too tubby to my eyes... Hard to do a graceful carve on the Tele shape

That is looking really good, a nice take on a classic design.

I did some contouring and smothed out the whole heel area and finally got the bridge on.
It needs a fret level and fretboard edges rolled then move onto finishing.
