Please set aside any preconceptions you may have about H&K; this amp is so different, both from Hughes & Kettner’s usual output - and from any of the other crop of 15-30 watt combos out there.  This, friends, is a work of audio art that is unprecedented for tone, touch, and volume (note the scaled attenuator on the glowing blue control panel).

It is, in other words, a European boutique amp – and one powered by Svetlana Winged C EL 34s, with a unique Growl (yes!) control that allows you to dial the tone stack in or out of contention.

Owned from new, excellent condition, deluxe H&K padded slipcover.  Cash on collection only; no Paypal, (as in no Paypal).  Please text 07754 254299 for more information.  Advertised elsewhere, so early closure possible…

Are you sure this is handwired, I thought they were pcb based? Do you have a pic of the innards?

The amp is in central London, but I can drive up to 50 miles to meet for a few petro dollars...

Amp is PCB based, with the other main bits pots, switches, valves bases and transformers hand wired...pretty much like most quality amps, but not true P to P like a Carr, which is 100% old style with everything hanging in the air....

    Nope.

Doesn't need one as it is non MV and you will have died before you get significant distortion from it

Actually not so; my Duncan Antiquity-equipped '52 Tele can get drive from this at 1 on the dial if you dig in. Unless your idea of distortion differs radically from mine, that is...this is a serious rock amp.

I've had two and they both stayed clean up to ear destroyingly loud volumes with fairly high output pickups. I use mine in a funk band so I need clean cleans

Thank you; this is staggering amp really, witha unique sound and capability.  But I have to fund a growing, late season Gretsch obsession.
