OK...thanks for all the help so far, but...VERSIONS, PEOPLE!!! We need to be able to replicate the errors you're seeing, so if we don't know what version you're on (operating system and browsre) it's pretty much impossible.

Hopefully this won't cause any rage . . . but I found the cause of my problems - I hadn't cleared the site with a no-script add-on - all of the above now working SORRY!

I had a brief look at the site on my Kindle Fire and it seems to work ok there too

Everyone else - sorry, but the upload's disabled again now. We don't have the disk space (or the funds) to support that...yet.

the default size of the commecnt box is pretty small, to the point that i can only see 1 line.

Tested on Kindle Fire using Silk browser (sorry, dunno which version). I tested paragraphs, quoting a fellow fretboard member and posting a YouTube video. All worked perfectly and considerably more smoothly than the current board. A definite improvement, thumbs up!

Ah forgot about the versions. IPad is running iOS 9.3.2 and Chrome 51.0.2 and all seems to be working fine.

On iPad I still don't get blank lines - all the text posts on one line (have tried it with default entry box and after pressing the <> button)
