Ah, like the "Which drive pedal should I get?" thread, the annual pizza thread is here once again.

I'll say what I said last year: Doner meat pizza from the local kebab shack FTW.
Does that mean that like a "which drive pedal" thread, the answer is "RAT"?

I had a deep fried pizza when I stayed with a scottish friend, it was magic

Local takeaway normally beats dominos too, for a third of the price.

My local chippy does this too. A fried pizza supper is a portion of cooked chips put onto a cooked pizza, folded over and the whole lot dropped into the fryer again. It's like a calzone from hell... I may have eaten it a few times (but either I've got ptsd and have blotted it out or I was too drunk to remember and thus it doesn't count).

Wis'd, Thomas.  Our Maud doesn't like peperoni and stuff, but I do, so we do a plain Margarita and put sliced salami on my half two-thirds - lovely!

Next time anyone goes for a Dr Oetker, check out the saturated fat levels on the box - and double-check how much of the pizza that applies to.  So many foods have "per portion" on them and then, in tiny writing "pizza contains 96 portions".

I have a strong suspicion this Dr Oetker is a cardiologist running a private clinic.

Remember folks...  this could be you !   (It's actually me, on 6th Feb 2012, for those who haven't seen it before.  I'm quite proud of the way my natural timing shows as my heart beats to the music).

Had a dominos last night. Lovely stuff, but I find the sides disappointing

I had pepperoni, beef and srirachi sauce. And I just had the left overs for breakfast.

But I don't eat like that all the time.

Today will be posh BBQ, so I also spent yesterday braising a pork belly in cider and lemon thyme from the garden. That's been pressing under a few bricks in the fridge overnight. Also have a few trout to cook and some asparagus to griddle. That will go with sweet potato chilli wedges, roasted veg cous cous and salad. None of this will be particularly healthy by the time I am done, but it is all fresh.

    Everything in moderation folks

Nah, back down in sunny South Bucks. Never got the opportunity to try La Favorita which I deeply regret.

@WezV how did you find the sriracha sauce? I thought it was just overwhelming as a topping, but would be quite nice as a crust dip rather than the awful garlic dip.

We'll have dominos occasionally, but only when we can get it on BOGOF, either on a Tuesday or with a voucher.

Wife is away all weekend, so I'll be ordering myself one of the largest pizzas they do from here: http://www.fattoni.co.uk

Not eaten one from there yet, but everyone tells me it's by far the best pizza in the County. I'm pretty excited.
they are awesome, 5 minutes down the road from us. Also the only takeaway place that can actually find our house !!
