I know this is perhaps the worstest of worst kept secrets, but we have finally announced that our Print-only magazine Guitar Quarterly, will have a 'companion' web-based magazine to be known as 4.52am.
This is quite different - it is entirely web-based, will be published Weekly (at 4.52am on Sunday morning) and will be Free.
Yep, Nada, Nowt and Zilch
It is a mix of Boutique and Vintage Guitar Gear & some nice music, with very little Blues and Classic Rock.
We'll also have some cool music from these very shores, and as we are very much concentrating on UK Luthiers, Amp & Effect builders and everything else, there will be some new and familiar faces.
We're really aiming for it to be old school NME/Melody Maker meets Guitarist, when all these things were good.
Anyway, there is a blog post
HERE and a list of what is in the first magazine
HERE and all are welcome.
Sorry for this Spamfest, but if you can spread the word, it would be lovely that.
4.52am launches at 4.52am on 25th September 2016
GQ launches 15 January 2017
Cheers M'dears

Oh. you just have to point out my inability to tell which day of the week it is in public, don't you!
Or maybe I'm a slow reader.
They won't all look like 1970s Knitting Patterns though (c) @DrBob
Hope it works out marvelously
I said maybe.....
We have an around the clock watch on @ThorpyFX, just to be on the safe side
Either that or me water tablet has kicked in about then, dunno.
(a) there's a lot of content in there - that's taken some time & thought.
(b) there's some clever design in there - that's taken some cleverness.
So, based on that, I can confidently predict that the age of Guitarist is over. Now is the age of GQ.
Good stuff Mr Jooky.
taveymuch Mr TT.
(Starting to worry I'm over-selling it now *gulp*)
