    Lol. Actually my dad and I blessed the day Vesta meals were invented. My mum was (actually still is) the worst cook ever. Vesta meals were heaven by comparison, specially the spag bol and beef curry.

  • My mother did pretty conventional meat and three veg type cooking. Although I remember being very excited about chicken with mushroom soup poured over it as her great innovation. I became a vegetarian in 1980 or 81 so it was definitely seventies cookery. 
    And lots and lots of Artic Roll
    that must have been massive.

    Unusual too - hard to get them to roll rather than jack-knife...
