I must say I was glad to hear that TWD is back as well. Although I'm not into superhero stuff so the shows I watch won't start till autumn

With all the hype about the next half of the season, I'm really scared to watch it as know it'll be on the edge stuff that will leave me thinking 'what the hell just happened....!'.

one non spoilery spoiler - there was a moment when i was shouting YES! YES! at the screen! (it wasn't Maggie getting her kit off)

Hoping it's better than the first half of the season-been a bit disappointed by it to be honest.

If it's the bit I'm thinking of then I was genuinely shocked. It was a brutal couple of minutes. My only reaction was shouting "what the fuck" at the screen.

I'm glad that little kids got munched! Thought the blackout bit focus sing on them killing was a bit lame, but fantastic start to the season.

Great episode. Some genuine shocks.

Bit of a cop out at the beginning though.... The annoying kid was saying "mom, mom" at the end of the last episode. No mention of it this time, unless I missed something ?

Well, I thought it was a bit poor. Too many unimaginative setpieces based on endless and somewhat incredulous (I know, I know) smashing of walker heads. 

 Started off well with the encounter with Negan's gang, which bodes well for the theme of the latter half of this series. Also good to see everybody reunited finally, which they've been teasing us with since the very start of this series.
