The tempo has really dropped since episode one. I hope it's because they're lulling us before a huge shitstorm.

Season 7 Episode 5 I really didn't like, the music was bizarre for some of the scenes - almost off putting. Also if the plot development carries on like this I'm gonna struggle to be as engaged with other character interactions when you've got such brilliant on screen time between Negan and Rick. 

If you've read the comic you know there are some epic Negan/Carl scenes coming up (when you looking at the titles of forthcoming episodes). Hopefully this all merges together well, mid-season eps of The Walking Dead can always be tricky

Where is it going though, 2 new communities so far this series.   5 altogether, 1 in control.

Not a zombie story anymore.  Currently it's closer to a feudal society with Negan as king.  Get Negan out the way and it will all be trade deals and boring shit

Enjoyable episode tonight. Always good to have a new scenario. I didn't see the betrayal of Tara coming at all, but in hindsight, it was clearly signposted!
