I *like* the quieter periods. Another series that odes it well is Homeland.

The impact moments have impact precisely because of what they come after. The alternative is something like the production values of "24" - everyone running around yelling at each other for 42 minutes.

So who do we think helped Darryl ? Dwight's missus?
    Red ones are better.

Dwight himself I reckon. He seems very anti-Negan, especially after all the "ha, ha, I'm shagging your wife" taunting.

I'm pretty sure it was Dwight, with the motorbike keys n all.

  • An episode with a fair bit of Christian Serratos ( Rosita) in is always good for me. Sigh  :3

Maybe not a brilliant episode but it's at least some movement and there may have been a tear in my eye when Darryl and Rick hugged.

Tipton is a small fishing village in the borough of Sandwell.

Isn't it Dwight's missus that always has the cigarettes though? and the door was propped open with a matchbook

You are probably right though - it's a far stronger story twist with Dwight doing it

The bloke in the boots looks intriguing...
I was wondering if he'd laced the supplies he couldn't carry with Ebola before he left.

  • Pretty good mid-season break with just enough gore and suspense to keep me ready to go back in Feb.

I can see the next section slowing up again with "how the Scooby Gang gear up" and another cliffhanger though.

Thought it drew the threads together well. Daryl out, but still sans crossbow. Carol and Morgan will be back, as will Ezekiel the Amazons on the island.
Imagine something sharp and witty here ......

I'll be watching, it can't be any worse than some of the 1st half of the season.
    Nobody is guaranteed tomorrow.....

  • Back on tonight.

    Does anyone care anymore?

    No.

I gave up after a lot of episodes that were 2 minutes of something happening and 58 minutes of adverts and staring at trees.

Watching it on catch up instead of live gets rid of the ads. Tbh I'm not that excited about it as I have been about previous series. I'll still watch it though.

True, but has potential from what actually did happen.
