Apologies if the links not properly embedded.
Bravewoods have the most realistic feel to play of any distressed finish guitar in my opinion.
In particular, the back of the neck is superb. None of the ill-judged belt-sander effect you see on many Fender CS instruments. My Strat is quite early and I think the ageing is very good. It is fabulous to play, sounds sublime and I can’t bring myself to sell it, although I am moving towards vintage only.
The Jazz Bass is from 2013, built to order. The one piece maple neck had great “wear” the body a bit less convincing. It was heavier than I wanted, never bonded so sold it last year. For what I paid.
Some lovely guitars posted earlier chaps.
The neck is unbelievably good. I specced a big chunky neck and it is absolutely stonking.
And the 62 Burgundy Mist Jazz bass.
I agree with some they the heavy relics can look over done.... But the more subtle ones like that really do it for me.
