The yard is nothing but a fence, the sun just hurts my eyes...
I'm curious now

Somewhere else on the net says Ron Wood... who knows. The only thing that strikes me as hard to believe is that anyone could actually nick one! They are astonishingly heavy with those speakers, and still just the single top handle.
"Take these three items, some WD-40, a vise grip, and a roll of duct tape. Any man worth his salt can fix almost any problem with this stuff alone." - Walt Kowalski
"Only two things are infinite - the universe, and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the universe." - Albert Einstein
Whether he nicked it and who from, I've read variations. That said, he could have got it out the Argos catalogue. It's still a killer tone he had.

At the time his sound on the first two albums was my ultimate guitar sound and as it happened my Epiphone was stolen so I took out a loan to buy another guitar.
I saw an ad in either Sounds or NME…can’t remember which, but it was a blonde 1965 330. I called and asked whereabouts they were, they were miles away in Liverpool, I said no worries I’m down in Portsmouth…too far away. Well our parents live in Gosport(15 minutes away from Portsmouth) and I’m down there the weekend. They brought the 330 down and left it with their parents, I went to Gosport, gave them the £500 and took it home.
The next week with the band, plugged it into my Marshall 2203, hit a couple of chords and for a moment I was Paul Weller…jeez, it was THE sound, Friggin awesome!
for me, personally it doesn’t get any better than this…
