In amongst all the side-splitting banter, I've completely lost track of what's going on, which design will be used, how to join in (and pay, natch), how to state that I'd go for a large, not XL.  My body, formerly a warehouse, is a temple now, see.

Don't worry TTony is in charge.
He will let you know once things are decided.

    ^^

    The design is more-or-less decided.

I'm going to get some quotes so we'll know what prices to charge.  I'm aiming for a max of £15, hopefully a little less if we can get reasonable quality t-shirts for a decent price, or if the order volume is higher than I'm expecting.

You'll be able to choose your own size rather than a one-size-fits-none approach.  And a size for your wife and kids and dogs.  And an extra size for when you're a different size.  Ideal Christmas present.

I'll set-up a new discussion showing the design and asking for firm orders.  When you order, you choose your size and pay via PayPal.

When we know that have enough orders-with-payment (rather than just, "oh yes, I'll have one"), I'll place the order.

If we don't get enough orders after, say 1 week, all payments will be refunded and we'll cancel the idea.  Given all the chat on this discussion, I really don't expect that to happen.

It'll likely be a limited run, say 51 (more if we get more orders-with-payment) t-shirts, with a unique strapline to commemorate the grand opening of our new home.  I'll probably over-order a few, but I really don't want a garage full of boxes of unsold t-shirts.

We may do other t-shirts, or even other stuff, in future, but with not with the same strapline.  This will be a one-off opportunity ...

Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

A pelican bib would be more suitable.

Not entirely sure where we are on this one any more. I was just kicking out some ideas. I realise that quite a few folks are not really that happy with them and that's fine. The "pick smileys" seems a very popular idea but wouldn't work so well without the colours IMO. Everything I've done has been based on something that would work in a single colour, which is obviously less dramatic.

Remember that a logo needn't be a staggering work of art. I did one for the Acoustic Guitar Forum a few years back and of all the fancy designs I submitted, the owner went with the starkest and simplest of the lot. No soundhole rosettes, no tuners, no goats nothing but a bit of nicely arranged Helvetica in the forum colours (sorry, colors).

Here's what it looks like on the Cafe Press stuff: http://www.cafepress.com/acousticguitarforum

A couple more ideas then I'm turning in for the night. If plectrums are popular, we could use that basic shape, rather than a roundel:

    That's very cool.

I wonder if something with the original skull and crossbones logo could work with a plectrum as the skull.
I know TT said the design is mostly agreed, but I have to say I really like this.  Simple, bold, clear.  Loverly.
