Remember that a logo needn't be a staggering work of art. I did one for the Acoustic Guitar Forum a few years back and of all the fancy designs I submitted, the owner went with the starkest and simplest of the lot. No soundhole rosettes, no tuners, no goats nothing but a bit of nicely arranged Helvetica in the forum colours (sorry, colors).

A couple more ideas then I'm turning in for the night. If plectrums are popular, we could use that basic shape, rather than a roundel:

I wonder if something with the original skull and crossbones logo could work with a plectrum as the skull.

I mentioned pugs about 3 pages ago. Although I did also mention the idea of logo'd cock warmers and no one has come back on that yet. Can't all be winners I suppose...
