Personally I wouldn't be an airline pilot for all the tea in China but it's your call. It's much like folk who dream of making music their profession, once you achieve it it loses some of it's gloss. I know lots of airline pilots who fly light aircraft, and everyone of them will tell you it's because it's fun and they actually get some real stick and handling time. XLR8 who used to frequent these forums also flew light aircraft as well as his 'day' job on 747's.
I fly light aircraft and gliders for fun and recreation, plus it's a quick way to get to the continent for a day out. (not in a glider I might add...) It's the only way to fly to me. 35,000 ft at .85M sitting on autopilot would bore me to death.
Far better to see the world from 3,000' and a 140kts actually hand flying the thing and navigating yourself.
Incidentally something that does make me do a double take is first officers who are now flying commercially with less than 150 hours total. Scary. I was still wet behind the ears at 150 hours.
It's your decision ultimately, no one here can make up your mind for you.

I've been grounded for two months for the tiniest bit of heart flutter. I'm currently going through three lots of heart tests before I can get my medical back. Done two of them and absolutely nothing wrong, just got stress test to do. Bear in mind I only fly on a Class II and you can see that when you get to our age keeping even a Class II med up is challenging.
Any gliderers here ?

Looks like a classic Facebook cry for help to me.
"What's up hun?"
e.g. "I'm really lusting after a PRS Private Stock, but in the meantime I'm getting a Custom 22"
"So the Private Stock dream has ended ?"
"My dream is to run in the 2024 Olympics, but in the meantime I'm joining a local running club"
"So, you don't want to run in the Olympics anymore then ?"
"I'd love to have a proper car, but in the meantime I'll continue tinkering with this knackered old Lotus"
"So, you've abandoned all hope then ?"

"So you're not committed to your dream then?"
I mean.... what ??!!
