Guitars From Your Past....Where are they now and has anyone seen them???

I miss my old R7 Goldtop that I traded with @Leiversalone a while back...would love to see that guitar again - truly one of the ones that got away....

@welshboyo that R7 was great, I fell in love with the sound and looks but ultimately I couldn't get the action to the Charvel-low-anti-buzz levels that I'm used to. I fully intend to get another R7/R8 but I'd really need to try it first and where I live in the middle of Cornwall most of my buy's are blind by necessity. I've owned over 150 guitars and there's not many that I don't regret selling. I have to remove the rose-tinted specs and remind myself why I moved them on when I see one up for sale. That said, it's always exciting to get new gear and I can't afford to do that without letting stuff go. I think it's good to practise non-attachment unless there's something really sentimental about a particular instrument.
