The NC Mazda was a bigger car, they when back to small and nibble for the new one.
I have the Fiat 124 and at six foot don't think I could do a long drive without breaks

I'm just over 6" and find the Mazda fine for comfort, though from what I've heard the headroom in the RF version is a bit tighter.

I'll be commuting in it so just over 60 miles a day

Fine initially but after a few hours I find I get a stuff back. Maybe because I have leather seats (I hate the new leather seats on short haul these days because of that, no grip on the bum)

I’m 6ft and I’ve done a number of multi-hour stints in the ND with no issue, but admittedly mostly a mix of A- and B-style roads

Apparently the later models have reach adjustable steering wheels which would help slightly but I just about fit comfortably. If you’re taller or have relatively short legs you might struggle
